Business Development Intern – Agri-Biotech

About GreenPod Labs GreenPod Labs Private Limited is an early-stage agri-biotechnology startup developing sustainable solutions to reduce food waste in India. The company has developed an active packaging sachet that helps extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables throughout the supply chain. GreenPod Labs is looking for motivated undergraduate candidates for a six-month Business Development Internship. The selected intern will work closely with the Business Development team to develop sales and marketing strategies and support expansion into commodities such as oranges and other fresh produce. Key Responsibilities • Understand the agricultural supply chain and identify potential business opportunities. • Support the development of sales and marketing strategies. • Build strategies for expansion into new commodities and markets. • Meet and communicate with exporters, traders and other potential customers. • Provide high-quality customer service. • Support the closure and coordination of financial transactions. • Conduct field visits and travel based on business requirements. • Collect customer and market feedback. • Support the R&D team by sharing product feedback and suggestions for improvement. • Contribute to improving brand awareness, brand value and brand recall. Eligibility and Requirements • Undergraduate students or candidates may apply. • Fluency in Marathi or Hindi is mandatory. • Candidates must be comfortable with regular field travel. • Candidates must have their own two-wheeler. • A valid driving licence is mandatory. • Interest in business development, sales, marketing, agriculture or supply-chain operations is preferred. • Strong communication and customer-service skills are desirable. • Candidates should be comfortable interacting with exporters, traders and other business stakeholders.
